Picnic en Blanc - July 16, 2022
The Picnic is back! Shake off the pandemic blues. Attend the event of the season, as fun as it is quirky, with equal parts sass & class — a wonderful evening where everyone wears fabulous white.
More than just an excuse to dress up, ROAR's Picnic en Blanc brings people of all ages, orientations, ethnicities and shoe sizes together — sharing food, drink and laughs, creating memories, and building community in Nanaimo.

Thank you to all our supporters! See you soon
Here's what you need to know
The picnic will be held Saturday, July 16 at 5pm, rain or shine, on the lawn of the German Hall, 71 Caledonia Ave, in the heart of Nanaimo. Tickets are $50 per person. You will receive a delicious boxed meal. There is a vegetarian option.
Please dress in white. White contains the entire rainbow, and dressing in white is a symbol of the solidarity of the rainbow community. We promise a unique experience.
If you really want to have fun, bring and decorate your own table and chairs. Or you can join our banquet tables (8 people each). There will be a prize for ‘best-trimmed table’.
Prosecco, wine and bottled water will be available at a cash bar.
There will be a 50/50 to delight all.
Free parking is available with two lots. Carpool if possible. The site has disability access.
The setting offers a big lawn and shade trees on the side.
Enjoy the picnic!
