ROAR Christmas Tree Chipping

January 6 and 7, 2018

Brechin United Church parking lot

1998 Estevan Road, Nanaimo

Now that the holiday season is over, what to do with the old Christmas tree? ROAR is holding its second annual Christmas tree chipping service in the parking lot of Brechin United Church, 1998 Estevan Road in Nanaimo.

Saturday, Jan 6, 2018 - 9:00am to 4:30pm

Sunday, Jan 7, 2018 - 12:00pm to 4:00pm

MJR Tree Service has donated its wood chipper to dispose of your tree quickly and in an ecologically responsible way.

Help us bring LGBTQ+ refugees to Vancouver Island by making use of this handy service. Your small cash donation is welcome: $5, $10, $20, or whatever you can afford. Any amount helps.

Tax receipts for qualifying donations available upon request.

We acknowledge that for thousands of years the Snuneymuxw people have walked gently on the unceded territories where we now live, work and play. We seek a relationship with the first peoples here based in honour and respect, and we thank them for their hospitality.
