As 2019 draws to an end ROAR volunteers are thrilled at the success of the three newcomers whose resettlement we have assisted in. Two men from Syria and, just recently, a woman from West Africa are now safe in Canada. Resettlement in this country isn't an easy, straightforward process, but we are happy to report that all three are doing well.
None of this could have happened without the hard work of ROAR volunteers and the generous donations of time and money made by our supporters. As a small organization we can only do so much, but we can make a difference; and that is reflected in the smiles and confident bearing of the people whom we have had the privilege of helping.
