The Nanaimo News Bulletin wrote an article about ROAR on the occasion of our receiving $1,000 from the Nanaimo Pride Society. The money will help provide financial assistance to the first refugee sponsored by members of ROAR. That person is expected to arrive sometime in December or early in 2018.
