ROAR's major fundraising event of the year is coming in June! We want you dressed in white, but we know that you represent all the colours of the spectrum, the wonderful rainbow community of Vancouver Island.
Our Picnic en Blanc will be held on June 16, come rain or rays of sunshine. The venue is a secret, not to be revealed until the day before the event. If you buy a ticket you will be contacted with the location on June 15.
As well as dressing in fabulous white, bring your own gear: table, chairs, white table cloth and napkins, cutlery and dishes: all the accoutrements. Add your own dash of inspiration. Candelabras? Ice carvings? Swan feathers? There will be a prize for the most exquisitely decorated table.
It may be a picnic in white, but this event will not be pale and colourless. Join us and support the resettlement of LGBTQ refugees to Vancouver Island.
